Great, and it's not too far for you, David?

Is Saturday December 3rd or 10th better for you?

Hopefully you, me and Rosic make 3 for starters, and I'll try and rally a few more together.

Rosic – any good places to drive nearby for photos, but where is not going to be dangerous if the weather is bad or any drivers are nervous?

10 of December is a great date for me, because I'm off work. Tebay is a good place. Food is ok, parking spaces are perfect – we can easily use an 'overflow' car parks so we not gonna be disturbed but any other cars. And places for photos – a lot of them in Lake District, so we easily gonna find somewhere beautiful – i think about one place very close to Tebay, but as I said everywhere in Cumbria is beautiful :D

Now I can't wait! :D I hope 10th will be a better date for most of us!

Is Tebay a good place to meet, as it's on the motorway, plenty of parking and I hear that the food is good?

Hallo everyone – sounds like a good plan, however – is that Tebay place a town or pub  ? I don't think I'm finding right place on google maps.

Hi Matt,

I'm glad you can come, as it's not far from you up the M6 a little.

The Tebay we refer to is Tebay Services, an independent, family-owned services in an ideal location. One of our owners club members works there. Here's the link:

Today I go to deputy tebay manager and I sorted few things for us:

1. We will get a chain off specially for us prepared parking. In Tebay if You stay more than 2h You need to pay for parking – we will have it for free.
2. I will have a table booked for us in restaurant as well, so we gonna sit together for sure,

Meeting will take place at Tebay Northbound Service station. It is just after J38 on M6.
- From South heading north go off the motorway to the service area, then just behind the main building turn left (signpost hotel). Carry on through cattle grid and it will be the 'overflow' parking on the left, just before hotel.
- From North, going in South direction go off to Southbound service area, then keep left and turn in the first available left road (signpost hotel). It will take You up hill, and through cattle grid. At the end of this road (T junction), turn left, and carry on over two motorway bridges. After the second one turn into first left (hotel). Pass the Hotel and just after it You will see us on the right side parking.

I will try to supply us with 10% off shop, gift shop and farm shop vouchers, if somebody would like to do some great shopping :P haha

After dinner I suggest a little trip through village Orton, and then back road to Shap. There will be some very good places to do some photos. Then before Shap we can get near a Wet Sleddale reservoir – another great spot for picture. If it will be snowing already I will get another places – easier to access.

After drive we can get back to Tebay for a really good cakes and coffee :)

I hope it is ok, and we will have a good time!
See You!

I need to know about 2 days before meeting, how many cars an d people will come.

Btw. Did we gonna ask Avantime owners to come, as well? I think it will be a nice idea to add some more wierd Renaults to our group :)

That's fine Robert, I can tell you 2 days (or more) before the event, about how many people and cars are definitely coming.

This one is Vel Satis only, but we can have the Avantime crew at our next meet in 2012 Smile
