Wow, look what we've spotted on AutoTrader, a very rare, very new (in Vel Satis terms, as Renault pulled the plug on them in the UK in 2005!) 54-plate Vel Satis DV6 diesel Initiale automatic for sale in Manchester. 88,000 miles is still quite safe for a resilient engine like this car's 3 litre Isuzu. So the fact this car is the newest V6 diesel Vel Satis currently on AutoTrader, it's the highest spec trim level with sat nav, 6 CD changer, parking sensors, cruise control, etc, etc, and it's done less than 100,000 miles, we think it's a great price at only £2,995!

Here's the link! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/cl…..1376581816

Down to £2495 now! Gads, I'd almost buy it if I hadn't only just bought the 2.2dCi Confused

Well spotted! I hadn't kept up to date with this 54 plate Vel Satis' listing, so thanks for the tip-off.

It's a great price for a 54 plate with fairly good mileage, isn't it just!

All the Vel Satis owners we're in touch with on this forum/website and off, make us think that the 3.0 dCi is slightly more reliable than the 2.2 dCi, but it really just depends.

I wonder what happened to this 54 plate Vel Satis' original 18" Villa D'Este alloy wheels, as it's got non-standard alloys on it, which I can't say I like.

The price now being £2,495, means that if the dealer accepts a bold offer, someone might be able to snap it up for even less!

That was on ebay about 3 months ago, I remember those horrid alloy wheels!
